Opening of the exhibition My Green Homeland in the representative hall of the Embassy of the Czech Republic and subsequently at the Embassy wall.
Jaroslava Bičovská received an invitation from the Czech Centers in Cairo to display her works on the wall of the Czech Embassy. In connection with the My Green Homeland exhibition, several artworks were selected for an exhibition at the Italian Cultural Institute as part of the SABBART project. This project explores how art and culture can contribute to a more sustainable future.
The exhibition "My Green Homeland" is not only a celebration of the beauty of the Czech land, but also a reminder of the importance of the connection between man and the nature that surrounds him. Jaroslava Bičovská invites us to a world where a kind of timelessness reigns and where it is possible to escape the hectic pace of modern life and find peace and harmony in connection with nature. Thanks to the delicate watercolor technique, the viewer can immerse himself in an environment where every moment seems to have its own slow rhythm.
Bičovská conveys landscape and light in electrifying colors and brings to the canvases her love for the place, freshly observed and imbued with ten years of experience and memories evoked by her hometown. She captures everything that is close to her – the landscape around the river Elbe, the castle park or her own garden.
