Jitka and Květa Válovy: Pearls on the wall II, 2018

Sales exhibition of works on paper by the Vála sisters. The twins Jitka and Květa Válovy were born in 1922 in Kladno, where they lived all their lives. The harsh environment of the industrial city transformed the sisters into their graphics and drawings with unprecedented strength and urgency. The works at the exhibition come from the estate of an important Prague collector and make a unique collection.
